(a) the insertion of the words "as ancillary

thereto" after the words "business of banking"

in line 2;

and

(b) the addition at the end of the sub-clause of

the words "provided that the business of the

Bank's branches, agencies and sub-agencies shall

conform to the laws relating to banking whether

passed before or after the date of this Ordinance

in any of the territories in which the powers

hereby conferred are exercised".

The views expressed by the Board of Trade with

which My Lords are in complete agreement may be summarised

as follows :-

The following amendments offered by the Bank are

satisfactory and should be accepted: -

Regulation 3.

Sub-section (1) Omit the words "and minting of".

Sub-section (5) Delete all words after "Exchange

Brokers" and insert the word "or" before "Exchange".
